Legacy - Nicole Nordeman

I talked about the "Measure of A Man" by 4HIM, but what do we leave behind? Legacy! Whose eminence comes drom God and not us. Joel Stephens was such a person. His athleticness and school work was impeccable. But even more was his love of GOD and his cancer, he called a blessing. With the Triple A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles, Peter Angelous was so touched by his character there is a Joel Stephens Memorial and the owner of the Orioles paid for Joel's medical bills. ALL of them. So legacy does matter. Sports, he was a legend, but it was God and his faith. He was asked about his brother who was black. A reporter asked him and Joel answered "He is my brother, Period." And left it at that. His brother was abandoned by his own family, but God sees us servants and he sees us by our faith and humility.
