That is interesting SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL most abused medications have potential medical uses. Opioids, synthetic opiods, diet pills, amphetamines, barbiturates all have medical uses which is why they are produced in the first place.
Of all the issues the American Legion can throw its weight behind, it seems strange that they are lobbying the US Congress to alter the listing of marijuana "from the list of drugs that are classified as having no potential medical use."
There has been decades of research into medical applications for marijuana with no required change to current laws. This seems like much ado about nothing unless the American Legion has allied itself with NORML. :-)
