I don't know why so many people make fun of her pantsuits. Most female business professionals wear them on a day to day basis.

Its because sexism, like racism, is no longer permitted in polite company, but so-called fashion discussion are.
Notice that nobody mentions how boring it is when a male candidate keeps wearing a boring suit and tie with no variety. This double standard is just thinly-veiled sexism.

Although on the office setting, generally directors and up will be wearing pantsuits (for female). Anyone lower will be wearing something a little bit more professional but with a nice twist. Males director and up with be in full suit, with the jacket off during the day, and under director will be business casual.
