Thanks for sharing SGT (Join to see) Taya Kyle speaking on grief ‘You Can’t Avoid It, And You Can’t Outrun It’
Grief is something that needs to be worked through and processed. Stuffing the pain or ignoring it leads to more pain. Recognizing that grief takes time to work its way through us is incredibly important.
Sights, sounds, smells, tastes, touches and fleeting memories can each cause waves of grief to flood over us when we thought we had crossed over. When we can remember the good times with our loved one with no pain associated with it them we have crossed over.

Yes, I know. I face it every day with the loss of one of our sons. I'm happy to see she's working through it. I read once that some idiot reporter wrote she was trying to get rich on the tails of Kyle's death. What a terrible thing to say.

SGT (Join to see) - I concur with you that for some reporter to write that Taya Kyle is trying to get rich on the tails of Kyle's death is horrible.

She's been through hell and back, and is still grieving, but trying to help others in their grief.
