Thanks for sharing SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL that "1966, Paul Mahar switched identities with his childhood friend Frank Clouse, Jr., and quickly found himself being shipped off to Vietnam."
This reminds me of Dickens' "A Tale of Two Cities" which took place during the reign of terror in the French revolution.
I am glad that Sgt. Paul Mahar survived as a tunnel rat and seems to have thrived unlike the hero of "A Tale of Two Cities" who went to his death at the guillotine.
