I'm not a fan of Todd Starnes. I don't care about what religion you are, but I don't use it as a litmus test to see what kind of person you are. In many of his op eds, that's exactly what he does. To include this one. A great man, a great CHRISTIAN man. The General is a good man even if he was Muslim, Buddist, or agnostic. You can't be racist against a religion, but you can be bigoted against a religion, and in Todds case, if you're not a Christian or Jew, then you're not quite "up to par". He's that guy you'd send people to for "reprogramming" and when they come out, they're fully indoc'd. The General made a joke that fell flat on some people. I get the joke, I could even see myself thinking the same thing. He DOES explain the joke, but it was too late. So this man is out of a job over a joke. That's not right, but.....I'm lower than Joe Nobody. I believe while I support the LGBT and their desire to be fully accepted and integrated in the fabric of America, they have to be as tolerant of others, as they expect others to be of them. This is NOT the way to do it. BTW Todd, can we STOP using the word HERO every time you mention someone in uniform? He is a Soldier just the rest of us, and puts his pants on left leg first. He's NOT a HERO.
