SFC William Farrell I did not go to Nam. Both brothers did. I am just an 'era' vet.

CSM Charles Hayden - I re-enlisted to go to Nam after my twin brother got orders. If he was going to be there, so too was I. I spent a year there. Fortunately for him, he was infantry and had a severe asthma attack running up and down the Ashau Valley. After he was medevac'ed to Japan, his whole platoon was shot down in a Chinook in what I believe was the second worst air fatality of the war. We went to visit his company commander's grave site at West Point a few years ago. Sad, very sad, the whole war.
