You are most welcome COL Mikel J. Burroughs. I have always enjoyed History and one of my minor studies in collage was History. Thanks again.

Thomas Jonathan "Stonewall" Jackson was mortally wounded in flanking attack by his on soldiers on the 3rd day of the battle of Chancellorsville, VA SP5 Mark Kuzinski. His death and the manner in which he was shot grieved and demoralized his soldiers fro a bit. J.E.B. Stuart was selected to take over from Stonewall Jackson by Robert E. Lee.

This was the rain slicker that Jackson was wearing on the fateful night. There is a hole in the left sleeve where the mini ball shattered his arm that had to be amputated. It had a vulcanized sealant that was considered advanced for the day, the equivalent of gortex today. His uniform, kit and his favorite warhorse Little Sorel are all on display and the Virginia Military Institute (VMI) in Lexington, VA where he was a Professor of Rhetoric before the Civil War.
