Dr. George P. Johnson, Chief Executive Operator
Dr. Johnson is a retired Air Force Colonel with over 30 years on active duty. During his Air Force career, he worked as a flight surgeon, an instructor at the United States Air Force School of Aerospace Medicine, a squadron commander, a group commander, and a deputy medical center commander. Dr. Johnson culminated his Air Force career as the Director of Force Readiness and Health Assurance, Force Health Protection and Readiness Programs, Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs. In this position, he was directly responsible for the health and medical support of all military members in deployed environments and contingency operations. He coordinated policies and directives with senior health care leaders in the three services, the Coast Guard, the reserve component, Veterans Affairs, and the civilian community. He also worked with allied partners to coordinate reciprocal healthcare agreements and allow data collection/sharing. He analyzed laws, policies and directives, and reported activities to congressional committees. Following retirement from the military, Dr. Johnson worked as a military disability consultant for the Physical Disability Board of Review (PDBR) in Washington DC and for the VA, performing C&P Exams.
Dr. Alan Janusziewicz, DoD Disability Specialist
Dr. Janusziewicz is a retired Army Medical Corps officer with extensive command and senior staff experience. With 25 years as a practicing board certified Family Physician, educator, and senior leader he has developed a broad perspective and expertise in all aspects of an integrated health care system. COL Janusziewicz’s assignments include 82d Airborne Division Surgeon, Commander 212the Mobile Army Surgical Hospital Battalion, Deputy Commander DeWitt Army Community Hospital, US Army Materiel Command Surgeon, and Deputy Assistant Surgeon General for Force Projection. He has broad policy development experience at the Department of the Army and Department of Defense levels with special interests in the Disability Evaluation System, the Traumatic Servicemembers Group Life Insurance program, DoD physician compensation, and Detainee Medical Operations. Dr. Janusziewicz has served as consultant to the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Manpower and Reserve Affairs, the DoD Physical Disability Board of Review (PDBR), and the Army Physical Disability Agency. He is a National Defense University graduate with focus on personnel policies, programs, resources, and strategic issues that impact National Defense.
