In this day and age of Information, Assume cameras are everywhere and if you do something it will be recorded and someone will find out exactly who you are. Glad that this Old Man was Identified and Charged with Assault. Just like the Young Man that was Turned Out by the Marines. Good!

I feel like Trump rallies are the new Hockey games. People come for the entertainment, but stay for the fights.

I think you are on to something. That is the Kind of "Reality" that Trump Fans Love!

You are absolutely right SSG, Trumps “rag-tag” security team should have kept the man in between them, better yet the police officers standing at the top should have taken over, especially in a “hostile” event such as this, and in either event, the assaulter would have had a much hard time getting to the young man.
I hope they throw the book at this guy and give him the maximum, I am also a senior citizen but what separates me from this “thug” is I believe someone has the right to express their views no matter how opposed they are to mine.
A few weeks ago I was drawing a contrast between two combat marine veterans; one at a Hilary rally, hosted by her husband and the other at a Ted Cruz event hosted by Fox News.
In the latter, the Marine identified himself with little to no acknowledgement from the crowd of his service to our Country.
In the case of the Cruz event as soon as the Marine Vet identified himself, there was a “spontaneous” long standing ovation by everyone in the room; I might add before the veteran offered his question, which at this point no one knew if it was a pro-Cruz question or not.
In the latter, the final outcome was that the veteran ask Bill Clinton, questions about his wife over Benghazi and her actions on the tarmac where the four families gathered to receive the bodies of their loved ones. It is true that the latter was “opposed” to the candidate while the other veteran was a Cruz supported… but I compare not the statements nor motives, only the crowd’s reaction when both of our Brothers announced to the people at each of their specific event, that they were Marine Combat Veterans.
One got a standing acknowledge of his service and sacrifices while the other got booed and escorted out of the event.

This is just me on this. I agree with you on how this man was treated as he was exiting the building was wrong. He should be taken to task for it. But he won't. Age does have it's privileges, and in this case, he'll pay a fine, maybe some community service, MAYBE issue a scripted apology. But nothing will happen to him, and if the victim sues him, now you're suing a senior citizen? The real victim has no actual recourse unless he goes after Trump himself.
To the other ones you mentioned. Personally, the fact that he ID'd himself as a Marine was a fail. It shouldn't matter what you are job wise. If you disagree or agree you do either as a man or woman. I wouldn't tell Bill or Cruz I'm a Soldier. It has no bearing on the comment I'm going to make next. So for him to be booed.....I don't like it one bit, but using the Marine card is as bad as me using the Black card. Keep it in your pocket for when you REALLY need it. At the Cruz rally, again, it's not needed. Neither one will care about us anymore than they did the day before which was ZERO%. Neither one knows the name of anyone that gave it all, but if asked, their handlers will give them some random filler names to make it seem they "know" us. The people who care what we are....wore the uniform and the families of those who wore it proudly. And to me, they are the ONLY ones I care for overall.

That marine at the Clinton rally acted like an asshole and was an embarrassment to his service.
