Yes I agree that PTSD is a conflict that military and veteran families fight at home along with the battle that amputees and burn victims fight SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL. While the scars that amputees and burn victims are obvious the mental scars of PTSD are not.

LTC Stephen F. thank you for your forth right response. Very heart touching and felt. You said it picture perfect, " the mental scars of PTSD are not." So true!

Saddly PTSD is a families fight, so many times I have heard it called the Army's fight or the DODs fight when it's not. Most people with PTSD are able to function at work because while at work we can switch back into deployment mind frame most days or for some of us we have medication the help control our mental state to some extent, but when we are at home with the ones we love when all the pressure and memories from the day in acus finally break through our mask they get the full force of the storm that is our emotional and mental state. There are all these programs to "help" the soldier suffering but what about the PTSD we leave on our families. I know I can say I have left scars on my wife that won't heal, emotional and mental not physical, and she still fights for me while she seems to sink and all anyone I have reached out to seems to say is they are for my health not hers, well they way I see it her well being directly effects mine.

I have a brand new process (not treatment) for stopping PTSD and other repetitive behaviors (not disorders). Its called Repetitive Behavior Cellular Regression™ (CR). Google it.
We help Veterans and their families including their children. Yes, children. PTSD does not just go with the primary person, but also with the family members so everyone will obtain some form of PTSD.
We talk to people all over the world 24/7 and here in the US the number to call is: [login to see]
