SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL, unfortunately I have a team member that is dealing with this issue daily. He cannot get the help he really needs through the VA due to cost.

CPO Tim Dickey sorry to hear, I would encourage him to seek out a VET center in his area and see if they can help. I know they squared a lot of Veterans away where I am at.

Also, Gulf War Illness research may help in discovering answers to his GW related medical challenges: https://www.publichealth.va.gov/exposures/publications/gulf-war/gulf-war-2018/research-2018.asp

Why do they look @ our comments/posts on HOW FB page? Its not just fibro, fatigue, etc. Many have continuous high white counts inflammation etc. They could get a lot of gd info. They should also evaluate all vets on registry for more than 10 yrs. Much has gotten worst. I had my exam back in 93. My health today is way worse I'm 51 with health of a 75+ person MI, stroke, etc

The Department of Defense (DoD) manages a program: Congressionally Directed Medical Research Program (CDMRP), the initiative further breaks-out to fund medical research on the 1990-1991, Persian Gulf War, Desert Storm/Shield. The Gulf War Illness Research Program (GWIRP) is focused, in-part, on chemical and biological exposure. A cool thing about the GWIRP is that they manage ongoing clinical trials and studies available across the nation. Knowing this may help in one better understanding health concerns attributable to the Persian Gulf War. What do you think about this?

You might want to look at this one. This is an official DoA letter stating that medical records were destroyed in country because "there was no room to ship them back".

I'm sorry to read about your motorcycle accident, I also ride a bike and understand the risks. Your medical situation is complex to say the least. Nevertheless, are you working to on better discovering your Gulf War related health concerns?

Good Morning Bob, I appreciate your response. My question was merely, do you want to learn more about your Gulf War related health concerns? If so, a clinical research study or trial may illuminate the information you seek. If you like this idea here is a list for your review, if you like a particular study simply send an email to the contact: https://cdmrp.army.mil/gwirp/resources/cinterventions

Have any of you fellow veterans ever notice that a fire or burn pit is always around when it is nice for the VA or DoD bad thing is we can not prove it. Cause we didn't have camera's or cell phones I will state that there has been some info put out there about what the vets went thru in the gulf
