Some good ones, but I'm offended they left off my first choice - Smedley, after MajGen Smedley Darlington Butler, 2 time MOH recipient. My crazy Smedbo is a Maltese and doesn't look much like a Chesty.

Definitely not a dog, but there was a DI at PISC while I was there in the early 70's who named his new daughter Marina Cora.

Yes, I once had a Great Dane before enlisting in the Marine Corps named Clancy Ilikai 3rd named after the famed Waikiki Tower Hotel and my other dog named Kaliko who was a mixed breed Poi Dog. But if I had a another dog I would like to name him Master Chief because being part of our sister service, our United States Navy.
