I certainly hope that the Army's new Digital Job Book is much more secure than the other US government digital systems SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL. It would be a travesty if this job book is hacked and soldiers information is made available to terrorist and terrorist wannabe's since school dates, etc will be posted there.
I certainly hope that the information is regionalized and not all stored in the same "cloud."

LTC Stephen F. your absolutely right, wouldn't do the Troops any good if the enemy had a access and counter used some of the TTPs against us. Well said and articulately conveyed.

Seems like a good idea but this bugs me: "Soldiers will not be able to manipulate the data in their profiles; instead, the information will be uploaded and updated by DTMS. The Job Book, which is also accessible on mobile devices, will follow a soldier through his career and permanent change of station moves". I can see the point in not giving them access to their own profiles, but if you aren't going to allow some kind of corrections, then why have it? Go to S1 and have them input whatever it is that's needed, and we use the old stuff again. If I'm way off base in my thoughts someone please tighten my shot group.
