Race immaterial this is wrong. This TO ME is the thin blue line protecting it's own. Yes they were fired, and they will get jobs somewhere else. But 100+ shots after a chase? It makes no mention of the suspects shooting at them or using the vehicle as a weapon. If anyone has proof where this did happen in fact, not opinion, I'll gladly change my opinion and amend what I've said. So the Police Union is going to appeal this claiming it's a political deal? I know not all cops are bad anymore than all of anything is anything negative or positive. I also know that the news will sensationalize things for ratings or click bait, but 100+ shots........there is no way that doesn't seem excessive and correct me if I'm wrong this is the case where the one cop unloaded and reloaded on the suspects? Justice is blind, and in this case, it wasn't done. The common man does this and there will be hell to pay. A cop does it, and "I feared for my life, he/she had a weapon" or a few more "catch all" phrases you hear in the news whenever there is a police shooting. Again this isn't against ALL cops...just the few clowns who make it their daily ritual to be power hungry clowns and TRUE Blue Falcons.

That is not surprise unfortunately that Cleveland, Ohio is "firing" six policeman SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL. While it is sad that Timothy Russell and Malissa Williams were killed after a chase following officers who stood outside police headquarters mistaking the sound of a beat-up Chevrolet Malibu backfiring as a gunshot.
If the pair had stopped when they realized they were being chased I expect the incident might have ended much differently.
The fact that officers were not convicted and were instead fired say a lot about Cleveland. Gunfire is not unusual in Cleveland unfortunately although I believe it is a significantly less violent city than it used to be.
Hopefully the remaining officers will and the families of Timothy Russell and Malissa Williams will get justice. I realize that may seem contradictory but justice should be blind.
Man knows not his time but God does.

LTC Stephen F. it in deed is a tragic unfortunate circumstance. I am originally from Akron Ohio. I have never known the police to be like this anywhere, especially in Cleveland. I hope all have learned the right way in how to react to justice in the righteous way. This was overkill in my opinion! RIP to the families of Timothy Russell and Malissa Williams.

MAJ Ken Landgren this was immense firepower above and beyond the scope of duty in my opinion.
