I hope everyone's ok, and got everything they need. Up here in NORVA folks can't drive to save their lives, and most have never seen snow. But I'm going to find me an empty parking lot, or some muding trails(shouldn't be hard to find), and act like a complete fool. I've been here for every other snomageddon, and I survived with SUV's with big wheels and stereos. Now I have a lifted truck.......might need a safety brief for this one!

LTC Stephen F. I concur, with your response, especially with learning to really drive in Germany in the early 1990's.

SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL - driving in Germany was probably the the times when I felt most free behind the wheel, my friend.

SSG Warren Swan Snow is a good idea. Maybe put it in trash bags to focus the distribution and placement, a no skid matt or rubber matt to keep it from skidding across the bed.

LTC Stephen F. - You're being very nice in your assessment Sir, but I agree. I took my Cobra to work and left her there so she wouldn't be hurt by any of the clowns on the roads up here. Gotta love covered parking garages. I have all my other vehicles here, and if they get hit, I can live with it, although I won't like it much. But my Cobra? Heads would roll!!!

So far all we are receiving in northern virginia is snow without heavy winds SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL. I hope that you and everyone you love is safe and warm.
Hundreds are predicted to die from this blizzard. I have been praying that all who die as a result of this blizzard have a personal relationship with our Lord and Savior before they die.

LTC Stephen F. absolutely having a relationship with our Lord/Savior is very real and means the world to me. Thanks for your prayers and I will be praying as well. Stay warm/safe during the blizzard. I am in Newport News, Virginia.

Sir I get what you mean, but I can't "like" what you said only because it mentions death and it will happen. I only hope it doesn't come to that, and I can laugh about this later. I guess that's the reality of the storm.

SSG Warren Swan - I understand what you are saying. God told me about the impending death of my father-in-law in May 2014 when he told me it was "time for [him] to go home.". He told me about the deaths of a number of other specific people who I know are believers since then. Every day millions die.
For some reason God has prompted me to pray that every one of the people who dies in this storm will know Him. He has reminded me of this several times today. I have learned to do what God tells me and not flinch when he tells me. I have seen Him raise the dead in my arms without me asking, heal the sick after praying seemingly beyond hope, and restore hopelessly broken marriages.
I expect some will freeze in their homes without power, many others will die on the roads and some will die out in the elements.
