Ukraine comprised part of the "Russian Empire" for over 500 years. In 1991 they got self-determination. Crimea got self-determination in 2014. Now, the Russian ethnic majority regions in eastern Ukraine want theirs. Zelensky, Biden and NATO say, "No," no self-determination for ethnic Russian majority provinces. Why? Because to do so would pre-empt the war and peace would break out.

That's different than this. We were a colony. Ukraine was never a Russian colony. We were an ocean apart from King George. Ukraine and Russia share a border. You're not going to appreciate this issue unless you are willing to look at it from both sides. Each side has compelling arguments, however, one side has a better argument for what they want now. That fact is being ignored by you, by the mainstream media, and by much of the world. Dispassionately, and in line with international morality as it pertains to self-determination, Crimea and the eastern Ukrainian provinces have just as much right as Ukraine itself to determine their alliances and destiny. To deny that to them is tyrannical. Zelensky/Ukrainian tyranny towards ethnic Russian majorities in these regions are what caused the conflict in the first place. Ukraine is NOT a democracy (involuntary servitude, cancellation of free and fair elections, money laundering, corruption). We have no rule or law or agreement prior to the invasion for support, only the Biden regime corrupt relationship. Not good enough for American blood or treasure to be spent. Sorry.
