Good evening everyone. Something amazing happened today and I wanted to share it with everyone. Out of twenty-two math teachers at my school I was nominated for the teacher of the year award for our department. Each department selected one teacher. The names are sent to central office where the final nominee is selected to be the High School level teacher of the year. I am in shock! Truly. I don't expect to get the teacher of the year award but knowing I was nominated is enough. Folks, I just do my job to the best of my ability each and every day.
