I'm a HUGE Admirer of our President! I Personally Love the job he has done! Especially with what he had to tell with when he took over the Office! Many people seem to Disregard that fact! Why? I don't know! However, many of you seem Dissatisfied! Why? He hasn't done anything for this Country in terms of Moving it Forward? The Country hasn't Progressed under him? What are your Thoughts!

One more thing that I have to say...
(warm up your down vote clicker, a bunch of you ain't gonna like this)
On the subject of "unemployment and the job market"... shut the hell up. It was NEVER as bad as the media would have you believe.
I got laid off at the height of the recession, I took a job making less and never filed for unemployment. I worked there for six months or so and the seeds I planted (posing resume's on multiple sites) CONTINUE to bear fruit... I'm in talks about a job now. And it's been that way for almost 5 YEARS now. Every few weeks someone asks if I'm interested in a new opportunity. I've never met my boss face to face, never been into the office... they interviewed me over the phone and mailed me a computer, in short I could be working ANYWHERE.
"But Dave you got mad computer skillz, I don't have those."
Then go get you some. I never took a class, never got a degree. I learned it all the hard way, trying things until something worked, and then remembering what I did... I worked a ton of crap jobs for people I didn't like to get those skills.
I know people who say "I make more drawing unemployment than I can at any of the job offers I get." Yeah, I'll blame the President for that... there's a hook in that worm, unemployment isn't helping them.
If you're active duty, you owe your job to the POTIS for continuing the war... quit bitching.
If you're disabled... hey you're typing and reading right? Get your ass to work.
If you can't find a job... move to a different city, get some skills, do something... I know a lady that makes better than the national average CLEANING HOUSES... if you made it through basic training you can damn sure clean.
Rant over... back to work.

In my opinion, the Country has regressed, in regards to race relations and the treatment of the Law Enforcement Community.

Capt Walter Miller - "Sucks bad" is an understatement... Why haven't I heard about that one in the press? Where is the outrage?

SPC David Hannaman - Spec; You should also consider the case of "Black-On-Black" crime where there isn't any money to be made out of the case so there isn't going to be any "outrage".
The odds on getting __[fill in the blank]__ to attend a mass demonstration protesting the fact that members of that group are killing children are pretty low.
You might want to consider the level of condemnation of the Muslim community based on the fact that the Muslim community isn't organizing mass demonstrations against terrorism and the conclusion that those who are condemning the Muslim community are reaching that the fact that there aren't mass demonstrations by the Muslims means that "All Muslims Are Terrorists".
By extension, you would be FORCED to draw the conclusion that all American-Africans are murderers based on the fact that the American-African community is NOT organizing mass demonstration to protest the "Black-On-Black" murders. Of course for any organization to actually come out and say that about the American-Africans would mean that that organization would be immediately subjected to massive economic reprisal.
Equally, since there aren't mass demonstrations being organized by the American-
Caucauians against "White-On-White" crime you would be FORCED to draw the conclusion that all American-Caucasians are murderers based on the fact that the American-Caucasian community is NOT organizing mass demonstrations to protest the "White-On-White" murders. Of course for any organization to actually come out and say that about the American-Caucasians would mean that that organization would be immediately subjected to massive economic reprisal.

SPC Andrew Griffin To me his biggest crime was gutting NASA. No other organization on the planet has delivered so much for the quality of life for people the world over...something they are much less capable of, now, because of him. Next, the circus he's made out of Special Forces. Parading them around on TV like it's his personal accomplishment. Politicizing it.
I could go on, but those are the big ones for me.

Thank you Brother! If you can! Please Elaborate on the Gutting of NASA and the Circus of Special Forces!

I agree with you on the NASA thing. I didn't like that the space shuttles were finally grounded with no viable options other than paying the Russians a ridiculous amount of money to "ferry" us up there. Now to counter that and be fair, I'd like to see what the life span the shuttle was originally designed for, and was it feasible to continue using them with the very limited payload they could carry. I know if I researched this, I'd get a million answers and none of them would match. One clear upside to this was the opportunity for commercial space travel. Space X while not perfect has provided a viable alternative than using the Russians, and they pay to use existing facilities and are cheaper than the Russians too. I'm not sure what you mean by parading of SF on TV. For the missions the Army SF teams conducted, bias notwithstanding, I haven't heard of one that was classified turned into any movie or book deal. (I could be wrong). Now SEAL Team 6 has a LONG history of telling their stories all the way back with Marchinko when he was in charge, and now to the SEAL who just HAD to come out and tell the world HE was the one who killed Bin Laden. I can't seem to blame the president for actions that the SOF community allows and doesn't reprimand their folks for. The PJ's could tell so many good stories, but you never hear of them, because they recognize they like the Green Berets are the "Quiet Professionals", whereas the SEALs are the "rock stars" of the SOF community. All are great men and professionals, just have a few who think of themselves before the teams.

I am sorry but I don't see what you see. I see a person who has divided this country by pitting people against each other. I also see a person who uses the sacred office of the President of the United States to further his radical leftist agenda. Further more he demonstrates his contempt for the Armed Services and continues to support terrorist and terrorism where ever he can. If Congress and the Senate had the countries best interest at heart they would impeach him and try him for treason. I believe the man should in jail at the very least. A person will be known by his deeds and that is how I am judging our current president.

O'Dumbshit has thoroughly destroyed America, the Constitution is in shreds, race relations are non existent. Dr Martin Luther King's dream is destroyed, What is there to love? He hasn't done anything positive. He has established a socialist dictatorship with himself as the Fuhrer. He and Hitler have the same goal total destruction of democracy, Christianity, and the Jews. If you support those goals Seig Heil Mein Fuhrer!

I very much respect the office, but not the man; that man. He has done more to harm this country then help it, here and abroad. He had a left wing agenda when he was elected, and he has executed it much to the detriment of this great country. And, if you are white, which I am, and you don't love him, you are quickly considered racist. My disdain for his performance, and many many bad decisions have nothing to do with race, they have to do with his lack of leadership and his divisive desires.

I'm curious. How do you feel about the response to your comment? I can well imagine that the 35 "Likes" and those "points" that came with them must feel good. On the other hand, the vast array of comments disagreeing probably didn't. How did you react to them? Whereas you stated that your are a "HUGE Admirer of our President!" (with emphasis) without submitting any basis to substantiate your opinion, most of the dissenters provided observable facts that would seem to belie your opinion. How do you react to those? Dismiss them as unfounded? Prejudiced? Or have you found evidence that refutes their assertions? You have responded occasionally to a few of the comments as though you believe that the only foundation for their criticism of President Obama is hate. Is that simply your way of coping with the negativity? To deny that their is any basis for it? That it is motivated only by hatred, racial prejudice, pure animus? Do you think this hatred will extend beyond his term in office the way it has for President Bush? Will the next President use this hatred of President Obama to distract attention from his own failings? Seriously, I'd like to know...

As far I know, NO President has been PERFECT! Each Administration has had their FAILURES, Disappointments and Broken Promises! But known of those Presidents have faced the Level of Scrutiny than President Obama has! I believe we can agree on that!

CPT Jack Durish
SPC Andrew Griffin - No we can't agree on that. President Obama has not suffered for the level of scrutiny he has faced. He has suffered valid criticism for his outspoken disdain for America, for his "leadership from behind", for his flaunting of the Constitution (often saying that it restricts him from doing what he wants to do and then going ahead and doing it in spite of the architecture of government - separation of powers - that it provides. More than anything else, he is criticized rightfully for his absolute refusal to accept responsibility for anything. He is a coward.

How many of you have had the opportunity to meet President Obama? It's easy to judge someone, it's not easy to stand in the shoes of a leader and to make decisions. A leader in any position makes the best decision he or she can given the information they have, the knowledge they have, the experience they have, and the advice they are receiving. It doesn't matter what side you are on you are not going to be happy with every decision made.

Capt Walter Miller - I can't say I would agree with that, but I also don't think he's the worse POTUS of the last 50 years either.

CPT (Join to see) - President Obama is clearly the best POTUS in at least 50 years. The ACA is the only government program passed for the benefit of all Americans since the Great Society in the 1960's.
Note that FLOTUS Clinton's attempt to reform healthcare back in the '90's was a failure like everything else she has done.

Capt Walter Miller - Well with so many of Obamacare's exchanges going bankrupt, I don't know how anyone can call the AFFORDABLE CARE ACT a success! It is just a warmed over failure of Hillary CARE.

I don't think it'll matter Tom; We continue down this road... it will be used against you and all of us who served in this Country's Military will probably eventually be rounded up and put in interment/reeducation camps and put out of our misery should we fail to conform... if we don't put them with the socialist/communist mind set out of their misery first... or deport them to a country that already practices such nonsense.

Gentleman,
I did get the issue of the retired news from the Army. It said we were still under UMCJ.
Be careful!
