What better place to start for our top leaders to get a pulse of what's going on in the ranks and the minds of Soldiers than here?

Shouldn't they be here?

Well, for all we know they could already be here. There are a few PVT Unknowns in here!

I was thinking those without a face and name are VIPs monitoring and engaging into discussions. Likely getting a feel on the atmosphere of RP.

I wouldn't doubt that at all Sir. They may even have their Aides set up profiles IOT monitor discussions. I doubt for any other reason than to just see what issues Soldiers are having that they would be unwilling/unlikely to bring up during CMD Climate Surveys or polls.

For the record, I did talk recently with SMA Preston about RallyPoint.  He seemed to like the concept a lot.  Would you like me to see if he'd like to join and get engaged?

Ouch! Would be pretty funny to see how many people drop down to 0 after having 50,000+ points. haha!

Just a correction; SMA Chandler holds the current top enlisted position for the Army. SMA Preston preceded Chandler and retired in 2011 or 2012.

I think that they should be on, but I also think that they would get better feedback if they used a dummy name/rank/position for their responses.  maybe 2 login profiles...one is them (so that everyone knows they COULD be on) and a second one so they could participate without intimedation, therefore gaining better pulse on the situations.

This is a spot on statement.  if it were to workk across all branches I feel this is how it should be done.
