I'm a firm believer that if you take care of your subordinates (or other service members), they'll take care of you.

It's been true in my career and I'm sure it's more common then we're aware of.

What's been some examples of your proudest moments achieved by your subordinates?

Early in my career I helped 3 of my soldiers prepare to meet the requirements for PA school and then helped them put their packets together.
All 3 of them are Army PA CPT's now and I've worked with each one of them.  Felt really good to see them successful.
I also make them give me 10% of the base pay.  ;-)

I'm proud of every Soldier I've had that has ended up outranking me.

A brand new medic of mine hopped out of his vehicle on a convoy en route to a training exercise to help a civilian that had crashed. It is soldiers like this that deserve and should, be in the army.
