Should President Biden declare an Energy National Emergency and embrace fossil fuels now that the USA and the EU are threatened by Russia?
President Biden and many Democrats have adopted the Church of the Green New Deal principles that deal
with Global Warming changed to Climate Change and sometimes called Climate Emergency. Going electric means hardship and the rare earth metals are too dangerous to process at home and the equipment needs to be made in China. China is also a future threat as well since China is threatening Taiwan and could be the next conflict after Ukraine. 95% of our cars and trucks still use Gasoline, Propane or diesel fuel.
Since President Biden came to office, his Executive Orders and changes to rules and regulations meant to force us off of all fossil fuels has actually cut domestic production and the USA gets 7-9% of its oil from Russia. The EU/NATO gets about 40% of its oil from Russia. Since Biden's Executive Orders restricted oil and energy extraction in the USA, our output has reduced output from 13 million barrels a day of oil to about 11 million barrels per day. The Democrats have this NIMBY (Not in my backyard) attitude. The energy shortfall we have had in the last few months has had the White House and POTUS ask/beg/plead OPEC plus RUSSIA to make up the slack. This is another of many examples of why Biden's ratings are so low because his dumb policies have caused self-inflicted injuries to the US economy and Biden, Pelosi and PAO Saki lie about their failings often weekly and sometimes daily.
Since the Russian invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, The EU/NATO are subject to blackmail from Russia on oil and natural gas. The USA needs to ramp up production to compensate since recent economic sanctions on Russia may escalate to using SWIFT to prevent Russia from any foreign exchange from Rubles to Dollars. This could result in an embargo of oil by Russia.
President Biden needs to step up and not be Mr. Rogers to his Leftist Democratic base. He needs to declare that Oil and Energy is a National Security Issue and postpone/cancel the Green New Deal directives until such time that it is practical. He needs to embrace the oil and energy companies and allow them to pump or extract with the same regulations under President Trump. This may require him to fire officials and discipline his leftist faction.
President Biden is trying to appoint a Federal Reserve Chairwoman that wants to stop loans to fossil fuel companies. The Fed is supposed to control the stability of the dollar; not pick and chose which industries survive or die. That is the problem with this administration. It is too leftist and left of Lenin. Fossil Fuels should be embraced by the Biden Administration as a means to bring Russia to its knees. The high price of oil is just subsidizing Putin's War machine.

Oil 'crisis' will get 'worse' if US doesn't change course today: Phil Flynn
Price Futures Group senior analyst Phil Flynn says Biden is following Europe down the same path of 'bad energy policy.'
Part of this is because investors don't want to invest in a future with high inflation done by demand destruction of the Biden Administration on purpose because they don't believe in supplying extra oil and energy to stop inflation. The Biden Administration is also being negligent by injecting 5 trillion dollars into the system that isn't needed with pork barrel sweetheart deals to certain industries.
Here are stocks that are not related to oil and energy and how they're doing this year. The market is down on average 24% since the beginning of the year.
Advanced Micro Devices computer chips -54%.
Best Buy -43%
Big 5 Sporting Goods -15%

Stellantis which includes Fiat and Chrysler -35%
Tesla down 11.25% though it was up 2 weeks ago until Biden's latest inflation. It was 5% in the green but his bad disastrous inflation is killing everybody because they have no expectations of making money in the short term with all this uncertainty.
Walgreens Pharmacy down 28%.
Cenovus Canadian Oil Company +4%
Suncor Energy Canadian Oil Company + 5.16%
Toronto Dominion Bank downtown 10%
Bank of Nova Scotia -19.73%
Bank of Montreal -14%
My American portfolio is down about 34% and my Canadian portfolio is down about 11%. What the federal government is doing is what is called demand destruction basically making stocks less attractive than bonds but actually destroying both of them by raising interest rates. Financial people care about the future. Raising interest rates will raise unemployment in the long term. This is all preventable. My oil and energy stocks are the ones that are actually barely staying above water. They should do well in the winter time when heating oil is in short supply.

"Under President Trump, the USA became a net exporter of oil...The USA WAS Energy Independent."
No, the US was NOT a net exporter of oil under Trump and nor were we energy independent. That's a flat out lie.
The EIA has weekly net crude import data going back to the second week of Nov-01. The latest data is for the week ending October 21st. Net imports for the week ending the 21st were 1,051 thousand barrels per day. That is the lowest - BY FAR. Next lowest week? The week ending August 12, 2022 at 1,131. Next lowest? April 30, 2021 at 1,329. Next lowest, September 30, 2022 at 1,396. April 15, 2022 at 1,567. The week of September 25, 2020, in the midst of the Trump Pandemic, is the first week during the Trump regime when imports even come close (if over 50% higher can be considered close) to the levels that we just experienced).

We imported millions of gallons of given grades of oil daily to to make products in the right quantities and exported millions of gallons of given grades of what we didn't need.
What you're thinking of (well, the propaganda that you're repeating that is based on data that I'm fairly certain you didn't even know existed) is net exports of TOTAL petroleum products - which includes refined products like asphalt, kerosene, LNG, and so on and crude oil. The reason Trump was spoon feeding you people the lie that we were energy independent was because he knew you'd not look up the data for yourself. Well, I've done that for you. In addition to importing less crude than ever, we are now ALSO exporting more crude (https://www.eia.gov/dnav/pet/hist/LeafHandler.ashx?n=PET&s=WCREXUS2&f=W) and refined products (https://www.eia.gov/dnav/pet/hist/LeafHandler.ashx?n=PET&s=WRPEXUS2&f=W) than ever. If import and export numbers are the bar that one needs to reach, then it's CLEAR that Biden is far superior to Trump in that respect. Heck, Trump's greatest accomplishment in the energy sector was to secure a 2-year production cut by OPEC+ and the US starting in April of 2020 by threatening to end military support for Saudi Arabia in the name of propping up oil prices (as it turns out, Trump came to believe that he needed to convince his supporters to believe that low oil prices were not a good thing after all (he obviously knew, however, that he'd be just as capable of convincing them that the high gas prices across the globe that stemmed in large part from the deal he extorted out of the Saudis would somehow be the fault of the Democrats)).

"President Biden and many Democrats have adopted the Church of the Green New Deal principles that deal

Scientists are literally scrambling to find simpler terms to describe the same phenomena so that you people will finally get it. Pokey people literally believe that natural gas is less terrible for the environment than the exact same gas that is just described with more-ominous terms (the dumbest among us also believe (the venn diagram of these two groups probably overlap quite a bit) that packaged foods described as containing natural flavors are not actually flavored with synthesized compounds added to foods rather than just extracts from the foods they're being made to taste like). They can only dumb down the science so far for you folks.

"Going electric means hardship and the rare earth metals are too dangerous to process at home and the equipment needs to be made in China."
No, it doesn't. Engineers have already figured out magnesium-based, solid state batteries, semi-solid state, nickle-based batteries, and super-fast charging (as in, going from near-dead to 80% in 10-15 minutes). The solid state and semi-solid state batteries are safer, more durable, and have a less intense environmental impact. There are already vehicles on the road with this battery tech and Tesla is looking hard at moving beyond lithium-based batteries. And, because the super fast charging can essentially be done in not much more time than it takes to fill up at a gas station, super fast charging allows for smaller batteries, which translates into less raw materials needed per vehicle.
I'll grant you that this post was originally written eight months ago (the super-fast charging breakthrough is just a few months old). Time to update your propaganda-filled post.
With that said, let's keep going.
"Since President Biden came to office, his Executive Orders and changes to rules and regulations meant to force us off of all fossil fuels has actually cut domestic production and the USA gets 7-9% of its oil from Russia."
We've imported oil from Russia for decades (including during the Trump regime (lots of it)). And from Canada, Saudi Arabia, and elsewhere. Even as we were getting huge amounts of crude from fracking, we were still exporting it and importing other oil. Why? Because oil isn't oil isn't oil isn't oil. Petroleum 101 sweetheart. You know that diesel shortage you've probably heard about? Well, refiners aren't working their refineries round the clock to crank diesel out of fracked oil because the bulk of the oil that's coming out of frac plays since the early 2010s has been lighter grade oil, which isn't exactly great for producing diesel. It's great for things like gasoline and a few other high-dollar products. Heck, refiners don't even have the capacity to process all the light sweet crude we produce domestically even if they wanted to. Oh, and since you did edit this three months ago, you clearly very intentionally didn't edit it to remove this part. We haven't imported any oil from Russia since April (https://www.eia.gov/petroleum/imports/browser/#/?e=202207&f=m&gg=i&o= [login to see] [login to see] 0000000&s=200901&v=u&vs=PET_IMPORTS.CTY_RS-US-LSW.M)
Unless there's another technological breakthrough like the invention of the PDC bits (a product of a DoE program at the Sandia National Lab for geothermal research, by the way), we have little choice but to import more oil. Output from fracked wells - which mostly produce reliably inconsistent light crudes - declines by between 40% and 50% on average across the major plays in the US within just the first year. Fracking is literally not going to save us.
The PDC bits, by the way, literally created the fracking boom that ended the decades-long decline of US production that began in the mid-1980s. You remember all that talk of peak oil? We actually hit it in the US. The world would be vastly different right now had the US government not funded research into green energy technology.
But hey, keep on with the propaganda about green energy.
" Since Biden's Executive Orders restricted oil and energy extraction in the USA, our output has reduced output from 13 million barrels a day of oil to about 11 million barrels per day."
Gosh, seeing as how production in the US went from a high of 13 million barrels/day in Feb-20 to less than 10 million in May-20 (who was in office then?) and didn't get back up and stay above 11 million until Nov-20, I'd say we're probably insanely fortunate to have a president who has time travel powers. After all, that's clearly how he was able to reduce output from 13 million barrels/day to 11 million/day during the Trump regime, right? He traveled back in time from the Oval Office (I presume he'd end up in the same place physically as the one where he originated) and, without anyone noticing, wrote an executive order to cut production that there is now no record of, right?
I wonder if he's really Black Adam. Or maybe he's one of the Avengers. This sucks that he's not using his time travel powers for better purposes. Maybe I should send him a letter and ask him to go back in time and pay one of Trump's fathers jail mates to off him while he was sitting in jail after being arrested at a Klan riot. That would prevent Donald Trump from being born and would thus free me from having to see this propaganda all over the place.

I mean, I can keep going through the rest of your propaganda and lie-filled post and tear it to shreds bit by bit, but why bother? I think we all get the point that I'm making here, which is that you don't have any facts and are just repeating propaganda from Facebook memes, OAN, Newsmax, InfoWars, or wherever else it is that you get your propaganda from.
