How would you feel about a "super-block" which would filter out another users posts so you don't even see them?

Taking a poll on behalf of RallyPoint. Please note that when I say "on behalf of RallyPoint" I mean "no one anyone where has asked me to do this, but I think the data may prove instructive, so I have taken it upon myself to ask."
There are a couple folks on this site who post quite often, and who, in my personal opinion, offer absolutely nothing of value, and in fact add NEGATIVE value with their comments. I have these folks blocked, which is all well and good. But what I would *really* like is to not have to see their jackassery (in my opinion) in the first place.
My questions is this: Do others have the same situation, where there are one or two (or ten) folks who provide bona fide negative value that you would prefer to go beyond just not interacting to the point of preferring to not even seeing what they write?
I am about the farthest thing you can get from a coder while still being able to use a keyboard, so I have absolutely no idea how difficult of a coding switch that would be, or if it is even possible with the current interface. But I was wondering if there is even support for such an option before I ask RP to look into it.
What say you?

I admit, this site sometimes feels like Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh had a love child who was determined to flood the forums with right wing propaganda, but here's the thing.
If all we do is surround ourselves with people we agree with, then life becomes a masturbatory echo chamber.
It's important to hear opposing view points, even if they're nonsensical. At the very least, it helps you understand the other half.

SPC Lyle Montgomery relax ASVAB waiver. Reread my post. You'll note that I just stated the importance of reading a variety of viewpoints.

SFC Michael Hasbun - I have people that I disagree with but their opinion is as important as mine. I just feel that this whole idea of blocking is rediculous. What ever happened to freedom of speech. Has our country come so far to the left that we are not alowed to express our opinions? WTF.

SPC Lyle Montgomery - Well... Agree to disagree. Not all opinions are equally important.
Educated, informed opinions matter. Random, nonsensical ones do not.

So I look at it this way...............
If your competitor or those in this case with opinions that adversely effect you were freely giving you access to their thought process wouldn't you want access to that information???
It's why I never ever unfriend any of my social media contacts. I can't control what they do, but if I start cutting off everyone I don't agree with I'll quickly become a victim of group think myself.

SR Kenneth Beck
I agree with you Sir, but. . . some of my brothers and sisters arouse unchristian feelings towards them. I just “wipe the dust from my feet” block them and move on.

SFC Casey O'Mally There is one poster whom I have ignored for 5 years due to the non-content of his very quick responses. Lately, he has demonstrated learning, confidence and growth in his responses. I continue to ignore him! Blocking some stuff would be interesting. I do not watch videos nor listen to music; not on RP!

MSgt Robert "Rock" Aldi - Did you copy that from one of my responses several months back? That is pretty much word-for-word!
