Use one "BEST" word to describe how your 2016 ended with (2) days remaining.

It's that time of the year again when we look back and we review what 2016 brought each of us or meant to us. Did we accomplishment our goals, was it a success, was is not what we expected, or could it have been better!

Here is mine for 2016. "Expensive!"

MAJ John D Benedict-Thank you for the kind words, luckily for me back in 1977 I did find AA and my life changed from that day to this, the Program works and in those 38 years I've met people that have taught me many things, probably the most important is that you don't have to drink today, and 38 years laterI haven't found a reason to,again thank you Sir for your concern.

SP5 Christine Conley - I've no qualms for people standing up to others for others. What I DO have an issue with is that this "movement" had a basis creation from the election. Why couldn't this have been created years ago? Why is it now that people want to help others and stand up to bullying (albeit when it's convenient for the other person)? This country has YEARS of bullying but now people want to "stand up" because feelings got hurt during the election? That's just stupid.

SP5 Christine Conley - Then please explain to me the hatred created by Revs Jackson and Sharpton but no one says anything about that?

SP5 Christine Conley - It's not always a bad thing to "stir up controversy": coming in and PROVOKING controversy that was not previously there, like a verbal assault of an audience member for his politically undesirable positions by the cast on stage (a la Pence's attendance of "Hamilton"), or like Soros & Co. bussing in paid rioters to burn Fergusson and Charlotte, is an arrogant publicity stunt at best. But sometimes controversial things that are ALREADY THERE, settled comfortably to the bottom of the societal tank, NEED to be "stirred up" by someone with the courage to do so.

For example, the one CONFIRMED Russian hack of the 2016 election wasn't into the voting machines at all: it was how they tipped Debbie W-S's hand and showed that the Democrats were throwing their own primary for Mrs. Clinton.

Trump's a jackass with little to no political experience. I'll come out and say it (until he's POTUS, the laws pertaining to service-member's comments per the POTUS do not apply): but I voted for him because his election was the best way to PREVENT the election of a woman who would stop (unless made to) at absolutely nothing in her quest for power, and whose major political experience and expertise was along the continuum from slimy corruption to socialist-ideological "cultural experimentation" to baldfaced treason. As in aiding-and-abetting-enemies, Article-3-Section-3, so long as those same enemies paid for the state secrets with donations to her "Clinton Foundation" election fund.

So many people getting away with things that should not have been done. Yet they slam the "little people" like they are setting an example? Our government making laws to hurt the majority, allowing protesters to destroy other people's property, banks getting away with ripping 97% of us off, childish elections stunts, way to much propaganda little news and the American public seems to believe it's okay?
Seems more people believe they are owed then willing to work for a living and it's unreal, so very unreal!

Cynthia Croft - Now that sums it up swiftly and covers all the things I can't remember, because as we all know there is a rather large load of nagitivity going on that shouldn't be. Thank you so much for putting my mind as ease, but I did start thinking of the positive things that I know some people are doing for our military family that was pulling duty, on deployment, ect. to get my (OCD) under control, lol. Seems we ended up helping out each other & I thank you for that. I do not like thinking on the nagitive side of things. Hope you have an outstandingly awesome as well as safe New Years Lady.

Endurance COL Mikel J. Burroughs The Lord has reminded me so many times "They that endure to the end, the same shall be saved." I have been challenged throughout this year to endure in the face of more challenges than I can remember. I take each day and sometimes each hour one at a time. Do unto others as you would like them to do unto you.

Cynthia Croft - Thank you for your comments on the cold beauty of Alaska. The entire family is happy here. Hopefully all of the camping, hiking, fishing and relaxing activities here will keep me young for a bit longer. Yes, I'll shear with the RP folks how things pan out. I'm already locked in for a contract job on needs basis as a relocation consultant in the Anchorage, Alaska Area. Now working a lead for a contract Project Manager position. 2nd meeting coming up after the holidays.
