My name is Raul. Since my young boy scout days I look for ways to help others, to improve the community, and bring value to coworkers, friends, family, and strangers.
I am a member of Toastmasters, Project Management Institute Alaska, Buckner Masters Swim Team. I give back to the community as Assistant Scoutmaster, a mentor for transitioning service members, and as a Leadership Anchorage alumni.

Security Cooperation Officer / Exec to the SDO/DATT
Joint Security Cooperation Officer and Executive Officer to the Senior Defense Official/Defense Attaché (SDO/DATT) Egypt (OMC-E). Primary liaison for coordination between OMC-E, the Defense Attaché Office (DAO), US Embassy agencies, United States Central Command (USCENTCOM), The Joint Staff, and the Egyptian Ministry of Defense (MoD). Responsible 80 Foreign Military Sales (FMS) cases valued at over 700 Million dollars. Performs duties as US Embassy Ship Rider in support of US Government vessels transiting through the Suez Canal.

Executive Officer
Executive Officer for a WTB conducting split operations between two installations separated by over 360 miles with a population of 120 cadre supporting the Comprehensive Transition Plan for 180 Soldiers. Responsible for all tasks assigned to the staff along with the integration and synchronization of plans and orders. Directing and supervising staff planning. Supervising management of the CCIRs. Establishing, managing, and enforcing the staff planning time line. Monitoring the staff’s discipline, morale, and operational readiness. Execute the duties of the Battalion Commander in his absence.

Battalion Operations Officer (S3)
Serve as Battalion Operations Officer in support of a Warrior Transition Battalion operating from two locations. Responsible for planning and execution of daily events in support of 180 Warriors in Transition (WT) assigned or attached to the WTB. Responsible for the training and schools allocation in support of military and civilian cadre as well as WTs transitioning back to active duty. Coordinates directly with the Surgeon Cell in medical matters an in the planning and execution of the Comprehensive Transition Plan (CTP).

Responsible for the command and control, employment, training, and welfare of 8 Logistics Assistance Representatives providing area support to 25 different bases in RC-East while conducting split operations from two FOBs at Sharana and Salerno

Battalion S4 501st Forward Support Battalion deployed in Baghdad, Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Responsible for all internal logistics for the battalion, life support, contracts, construction projects and movement. FOO accounts worth $40,000 per week. FOB Mayor for 650 U.S. military and contract personnel.
