Before you jump to conclusions, ensure you know what a wet willie is...

He definitely picked the wrong time for that prank as well as the wrong person.

PO3 Taylor. Bingo. Always dry your hands first....I have some finger jokes, but someone would whine about it.

It was a 2LT and in a hazing event gone wrong, he thought it was a "proper salute".

This airman obviously needs some help. If he could recognize that if he did that to a superior "it would be a big deal" then he also knew that doing that to an LEO would be a big deal also. Our service members want respect and guys like this just make all of us look like idiots. Hopefully he will learn a valuable lesson from this and not allow one of his comrades to something so idiotic.
Obviously he doesn't have respect for civilian authority and I would almost bet not so much for his leaders.

Some people, who are normally very smart, lose control of their inner idiot when under the influence of alcohol.

I just think with the Ebola scare out there he shouldn't have pulled the wet willie prank.

OK, I'm among the first to say that the Airman acted like an idiot....but a felony? The cop acted like an idiot too.

SGT Hanner--two wrongs don't make a right, and policemen do have some discretion, if not the option to use it for valor.

I probably shouldn't be laughing at this, but for some reason, I can't stop!

I've learned long ago that while pleasing everyone is impossible, ticking people off seems to be very easy, especially when I'm not trying to do so.

SPC McNeil, well I did rather expect it and on the surface, one could say I deserved it for "daring" to float such as politically incorrect topic.... if you shoot first and ask questions later, you can justify the shooting. Just as victors always rewrite the history, because they can. As a journalist and sociologist, it's tough to resist posing or answering questions that have layers of an onion, where our views on intolerance are tested to see what kinds of reactions are provoked--usually revealing another layer of a different kind of intolerance. Such is life.

I say go for it. Just be yourself, and let whoever wants to get offended do so. I didn't comment on that thread, but it didn't offend me either.
With a face like this, I'm very hard to offend. I look at myself in the mirror once a day to keep that up. *grin*

LTC Wasserman, heck, I never knew what a wet willie was unless it was my dad, whose name was willie....
