Who has seen this film? The director Dinesh D'Souza takes on some of the most controversial issues of our time (stealing land from Native Americans, building the country on the backs of slaves, etc.) in this documentary. For those that have seen it, what was your impression? What did you learn from the film? Did it change your perspective on some things? For those that haven't seen it, I HIGHLY recommend it. If you love history like I do, it will surely be educational. Once you see the documentary (it's on Netflix for those wondering where to view it) please comment and explain what you took away from it. Tell us what impact it made on your view of history. Thanks for playing!

Great movie! My wife and I went to the premier in Houston and got to meet Dinesh and Michael Berry. Later on I took my parents and my kids to see it. It should be a mandatory watch for high school students.

This is an important film for all Americans to see; it looks at our history in a balanced way from the viewpoint of a highly educated immigrant that understands the promise America represents to the rest of the world. Sometimes it takes an outsider to see the country as it is and always has been from the start - the good as well as the bad - and put it into a historical perspective in the world.

This is not the negative view of the left that our students are taught in our broken and highly ideological educational system today.
