I am getting out of the military in 7-8 months and I am looking at going to ITT-Tech's information technology degree program. I want to know the good and the bad. I did some research on the VA website's tools and there was only one complaint for the school in Albuquerque but a lot of complaints for other locations. Anyone have experience?

If the unaccredited school that you are considering has more commercials than the next three schools combined, you might be considering ITT-Tech.

There are way too many ACCREDITED (regional is much better than national, btw...) schools that you have at your disposal to even consider this school.
I'd rather see you go somewhere that will land you a good job, not an acting gig on a commercial...

In addition to the message I sent you I'm going to add 3 sites you might want to look at.
At about certifications in the area you called:
http://certification.comptia.org/getCertified/certifications.aspx
A choice of school that is free and will allow you to get the certification free. Remember there are many schools that offer the same thing for a very high price.
http://perscholas.org/it-courses/
the school you asked about so you can compare what your looking for VS what they offer to get to your intended goal.

One more thing if you have experience with IT while in the Military, prepare your resume to align up for IT Only. once you have that, open an account with LinkedIn, prepare to set it for IT only, in there you will see many company companies look for positions in IT.
Talk to your VA rep when you apply for unemployment as soon as you get out so you can upload your resume in there link and start your job search. You can also open an account with Careerbuilders.com to upload your resume as well. This will buy you enough time to decide which school is best for you and if lucky by finding a job that needs no experience its a start with the resume at the same time.

Too many issues with that school with very low academic standards. Get with your education center for a more solid school.
