Recently the Army has committed to establishing BLC online at the soldiers home. Do you feel this method of teaching will actually give soldiers basic knowledge of being a NCO or do you feel its better to continue the school course after the virus.

I agree--Temporary solution for a Temporary (Pray to God) situation. Future use should only be for supplementing the Education Process, not replacing.

I don't think it'll help much but at the same time they need to get soldiers through NCODP programs to keep their TIG rank requirements on track.

BLC no longer has Land Nav and the only real "leadership" practice Soldiers receive is well nothing, because even in class leader roles you just help march people and get accountability. While important, I would not consider this practical leadership training as most Specialists(P), in my opinion should already understand how to accomplish those tasks. BLC now is primarily focused on writing as many Soldiers (NCOs) struggle at effective written communication especially in higher level NCOES. Moving BLC online does not change the overall content being taught nor would it adversely affect the Soldier.
