81 year old CSM Ron Holsopple has been fighting with DFAS since the beginning of the year.

I read that. When I die I'll make sure and not notify them. Maybe when I'm rotten, my next of kin will.

I am not surprised, My husband served for 22 years, 3 deployments and they screwed us with $109,000 debt because someone somehow did not do their job updating our records after we submitted 3 times. We sent our complaint to army correction more than 10 times, hired lawyers to write us a letter, and also did congressional complaint with 2 offices, plus a letter to the white house to help, but nothing changed, now the debt is posted on our credit until we pay it off and that affect our credit score that made the bank rejected our home loan. They know its impossible to sue them, and they know they can do whatever they want to us. That was the thank you for our service.
