Can I have a permanent retainer in BCT or should I get the removable ones?

I just had my braces removed the other day and I need to know if I can have a permanent retainer or if I should get the removable ones.

Get the permanent one. One less thing you'd have to worry about maintaining once you're in training.

I had one in BCT and halfway through it broke but that was due to it being glued with poor quality glue..
Long story short: its not an issue
