I called my branch but, I was in a really small career field so it was pretty easy. At the time there was only 250 photographers in the Army. Maybe the same number of video people and illustrators.

You already did, the day you raised your right hand and took your enlistment oath. Know is a matter of timing for you to go!

You can't volunteer for deployments. Units go to deployment, not people. When your unit is alerted for a deployment that's when you'll go. If you want to increase your chance of being in one of those units go to Airborne School

SSG James J. Palmer IV aka "JP4" I know there are certain units you can do that with. Especially if you're in a MEDDAC, or the FORSCOM augmentee volunteer. But going off his MOS and rsnk I'm 90% sure he doesn't fall into that category.

SFC (Join to see) - FORSCOM units get WIAS tasters as well, they are not the norm though. 91C2 would be a lightning strike.

LTC Jason Mackay the ones I've seen when I looked at the requests were things like MI or senior staff for planning. Basically nothing that would apply to anyone in current battalion.

SFC (Join to see) I think we’re on the same page. Certainly not looking for a 91C2
