Any 12b's go non flight warrant? Specifically an E5 without ALC. I'm trying to avoid rotary wing pilot as much as possible since I hate flying in helo's but, will go for it if I need to. At this point in my career it's go warrant or get out.

There are a couple of engineering WO's MOS's out there. Not sure how strong your skills are, but here are a few WO MOS's.
120A Construction Engineering Technician
125D Geospatial Engineering Technician
880A Marine Deck Officer
881A Marine Engineering Officer

If you really know engineering equipment and know how to repair it you may consider
919A Engineering Equipment Maintenance Officer (but you would most likely have to change MOS's over to a feeder enlisted MOS.

I have worked with 919's and they have to know far more about equipment than a 915A does, as they have to know our side and their side. Not easy to do.

SSG (Join to see) have you seen the chart on USAREC's site? http://www.usarec.army.mil/hq/warrant/wogeninfo_mos.shtml

There are other choices but you will likely need to seek out additional training and or certification. Is there anyway for you to get Master Gunnery certified in your MOS? 913A might be an option.

880 series. You'll have to figure out how to get the corresponding watercraft Civilian certifications.

At the end of the day, Warrant Officers are technical experts and that's what we have them.

LTC Jason Mackay Sir, I appreciate the information. As to additional training I am about 50% done with an Associates degree in the science of Occupational Safety and Health so that may get me a foot in the door.

SSG (Join to see) - will line you up on aviation...safety is one of those he big additional duties.

Looking at all MOS feeders, IT carts/education and relative to the 250 series, vessel Master cents for 880 series, etc

Have you considered reclass to a new MOS. Maybe an MOS that is WOC feeder. I was a 12b and I was medically reclassified to 14G. Best career move I ever made.

SSG (Join to see) reclass to an 88 watercraft MOS sets you up for 880A.

MSG Gustavo Arguello, I have considered re-classing to 12P and go that route as a feeder.
