Got Selected and work for ARSOF recruiters as part of OJT. Will ATRRS reservation work as orders to not go to JRTC?

I got Selected back in June and start the Q course in January. My 1sg is trying to get me to go to JRTC in September for 25 days. He said if I dont show him actual orders for the Q, i will be going to JRTC. Does an ATRRS reservation act in the same way as those orders? Im supposed to be getting PRK surgery as well in the coming weeks. What are the chances of not going to JRTC if im working for OJT (On The Job Training) and on profile because of PRK?

Whether you go or not is up to your leadership. Whatever they are willing to accept for proof is what will work.
But you said your date is January, there's no reason you can't go to JRTC in September.

It would be good to know. I would hate to see that your first sergeant trying to Blue Falcon you. I hope you get a correct and proper answer. Congratulations on your selection. That is what Rally Point is for to make sure you get second opinions because I've seen it where they will put a specialist in the sergeant slot to make sure that a sergeant doesn't get promoted. Let me see if I can get some help here.

If you are on documented profile that overlaps your rotation date, you cannot go to JRTC.
On the other hand, if you are getting PRK surgery soon, recovery time is about 4 days, but you're supposed to post-treat with eyedrops for 1-2 months.
You are supposed to attend QC in JAN 19.
When exactly are you planning on preparing for the Q course .................?
