Transitioning and trying to get ahead of the curve. Do you have any recommendations for military-to-civilian resume building sites?

The real trick is writing the resume is to break down your military career into terms a civilian can digest. Give a job title you've held like squad leader. Include a brief summary of the job then state how many people you supervised, and the equipment you were responsible for in a dollar amount, and finally mention the mentorship you provided to subordinates and subordinate leaders. Typically as a squad leader you had anywhere from $1,000,000 to $6,000,000 worth of equipment for your squad. You were ultimately responsible for the equipment, so include it. Lastly, tailor your resume to the business or position your applying. If it's managerial, talk up your experience with leadership and accountability. If manufacturing, talk up your experience with maintenance and equipment safety. I say, build a template and adjust it from there.

I don't know any sites but if you need some help with writing up a resume just let me know. Civilian resumes aren't too bad but federal format resumes can be quite annoying.
