It was put out to us this morning at formation that first term soldiers with an ets of FY14 were pretty much unable to reenlist as of right now

Yes, this is true.
Effective immediately FY14 ETS, Initial Term Soldiers are restricted from executing any additional reenlistments until the release of pending guidance.

Enlisted with a BA in Business, received nothing. No bonus, no student loan repayment.

SSgt Olson, at one point I was offered E.O.D with no bonus, I just went to enlist at the wrong time, or had the wrong recruiter. I was told there was a year and a half waiting list for OCS, I wanted to come in as an Officer.
