My goal was 1SG. When I chose to stay, I knew it was what I wanted to be. From the day of my first reenlistment to the day I pinned was just under 18 years. There were times when I quit striving. There were times when others tried to hold me back, but I persevered.
What is your goal? How do you plan to get there?

Depending on what happens in the near future (the rest of my 6 year enlistment) as I am going through medical issues. I would like to reach Command Chief Master Sergeant or Commission as an officer.

Over the course of 18 years I have had many goals along the way that I have been very fortunate to achieve. Naturally I would want to get selected for attendance to USASMA and get a Battalion after graduation but both of these things are not goals that are within my complete control aside of doing my best and preparing my board file.
