PO2 Robert M. POTUS Nixon certainly had the Western Whitehouse, just South of San Clemente, just past the Northern boundary of Camp Pendleton.

One slow day at Camp Pendleton, I happened upon a six pack of -xxx; not wanting to be conspicuous, I told my driver to take me to the beach for a break. It so happened, the beach was immediately South of the Western Whitehouse. Several 'men' appeared on the bluff above the beach, surveyed us and vanished.

Well, the White Housebis the seat of the Executive Branch with more space devoted to the work than the residence, so he'll probably still operate out of the Oval Office. He may fly back to NYC a lot, but whatcha bet he tried to take his own plane to save $$$ on AF One? He'll still get crucified for it, too. Wait and see.

From my research, there is no law, statute, or regulation stating he must, however by opinion I would consider very ill advised. One, would cause a security nightmare for the secret service; two, would pose a major problem for he Marines of eighth and I to accomplish their mission of protection just based on where they are stationed.

Marines guarding the White House is more ceremonial than practical. That's what the Secret Service is for.

SSG (Join to see) - no there is a rapid response force from eighth and I to reinforce/retake whitehouse if necessary. I'm not talking about the dress Marines outside the whitehouse.
