If its board record check time, your ability to do anything is limited to making sure what the record reflects is complete, accurate and submitted IAW current board notice policy.
That plus making sure your file matches your picture is about all you can do unless there are file errors,,,,then ask for specific suggestion based on the issue you found.

NOTE: Not sure if this was a CA ARNG thing or not but, the only thing I would add is that if it's too late to update any last minute items, prepare a memo to the President of the Board to explain deficiency. The board may or may not take your memo into consideration but at least you would let them know that you know what is and what is not in your files.

Make sure that all of your awards and decorations on you uniform in your DA photo are on your ARB

Bottom line is make sure your board file and DA photo are accurate and hope for the best. Keep in mind that a promotion will also hinder on vacancies at the next rank. A friend in the Chemical Corps has an outstanding record but because there were no vacancies his MOS didn't promote for a few years. I'm in another MOS but was promoted before him which made him jealous. So you do what you can to make sure your records are correct and let the system take over from there.
