Senator Cruz, seems to be the closest constitutional conservative of the bunch.

You need to take a closer look. It is all hard candy shell. Like an M&M, but instead of chocolate on the inside you have a turd. He seems a constitutional conservative because that facade he built to get what he wants. He is the most self serving of the entire field to include Hillary Clinton. Then there is the added fact that he is not eligible to hold the office because he natural born in Canada...which he knows but realizes most Americans no longer understand or care about Constitution and he will be able to weasel his way in. A bit of a 'Beg forgiveness is easier than meet the requirement'

If the birther bs was true, why hasn't he been outed and not allowed to run. Would seem to competitors the easiest and fastest way to get rid of him. My litmus test, everyone hates him. His own party career politicians, opposition party members, and Trump. He doesn't play ball with career politicians, it would be refreshing. It's tough to distinguish what letter is in front of politicians these days, they both agree on everything when it's time to pass legislation.

If your going to do a poll, list then all. Ben Carson to me, will not get the vote, but he is the most thought provoking, stops to think what he says better than any of the others. Trump has the highest chance of getting it because he says what he thinks, others money can't buy him, and he's not afraid to face others. Ted Cruz is "fairly reliable" and has a track record some what to back him. Jeb Bush is a shirt tail joke and should just admit it.

I don't know about that Sir...I think he understands that there is a potentially hug base of voters who normally don't show at the polls who will based on his rhetoric. I'm admittedly surprised at how much of a following he is garnering, and wouldn't count him out against Bernie.
