Joint Forces Headquarters of the Arizona National Guard houses the Arizona Department of Emergency and Military Affairs, the Arizona Army National Guard, and the Arizona Air National Guard located at the Papago Park Military Reservation in Phoenix, Arizona.

The Commander of the Arizona National Guard, The Adjutant General (TAG) as well as the Commander of the Arizona Army National Guard, the Land Component Commander (LCC) both operate at Papago Park Military Reservation.

The TAG is a Brigadier General - Major General level position.

The LCC is a Colonel - Brigadier General level position.

The position of TAG may be held by a General Officer of the Arizona Army National Guard or the Arizona Air National Guard respectively.

Papago Park Military Reservation (PPMR) was established on April 21, 1930 by Public Law 92 from the 71st Congress as a military facility and rifle range.

PPMR is also home to the Arizona Military Museum, which in 2006 celebrated its 25th Anniversary. The building was constructed in 1936 and became a National Guard Arsenal until World War II where it was converted into a maintenance shop for German Prisoners of War confined at a nearby POW Camp.

PPMR is home to the following Army National Guard Units.
