Mission Statement
ATGWP executes duties as Commander Naval Forces Pacific's "executive agent" for training and readiness through developing, delivering, and assessing individual and team training for surface afloat commands in 22 mission areas. ATGWP provides dynamic, quality afloat training to the fleet ensuring a combat ready force capable of performing a broad spectrum of maritime missions. Special emphasis is placed on training watch teams and observing special evolution teams to institutionalize onboard capability to sustain and improve combat readiness for employment by operational commanders.
