I think he executed a poorly thought out plan to the best of his ability. To whine about the orders he was given or for him to not lead his troops in spite of those orders is not in his character...He is a warrior's warrior

Was it his plan? Did he and his staff not add their necessities to the plan? Or did he just go with the plan as received? If he just ran with it, them it's on him.
