The 529th Military Police Company’s missions are to provide combat military police support to any USAREUR/21st TSC contingency operation as directed; to perform security for HQ USAREUR/7th Army and conduct law enforcement for the Wiesbaden military community; to provide security for the commanding general and deputy commanding general, USAREUR/7th Army; and to provide honor guard/salute battery ceremonial support to HQ USAREUR/7th Army.
The 529th Military Police Company is the most mission diverse military police company in the United States Army. In the last five years alone, the company has deployed soldiers in support Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom.

Unit history
The 529th Military Police Company was constituted on 28 June 1945 as the 153rd Military Police Service Company. On 13 July 1945, the Department of the Army activated the 153rd in New Dehli, India. The unit served in China, India, and Burma until its deactivation on 10 April 1946 in India. On 28 December 1946, the unit was reorganized in Europe. The unit was re-designated as the 529th Military Police Service Company and assigned to the European Command at Giessen, Germany with subsequent duties at Wetlar Post, Frankfurt, and Rhein Military Police Districts.
On 22 June 1951, the 529th Military Police Service Company was re-designated as the 529th Military Police Company and allotted to the regular army. In September 1951, the unit was transferred to La Rochelle, France where it remained until December of 1952 when it transferred to USAREUR Headquarters in Heidelberg, Germany and was designated as the USAREUR Honor Guard by the Department of the Army. In July 1972, the 529th Military Police Company became part of the 26th Area Support Group and was reassigned to the 95th Military Police Battalion in November 1994.
