The 426th Network Warfare Squadron is the premiere cyberspace squadron for the 960th Cyberspace Operations Group. Based at Lackland AFB, TX, the 426 NWS has instilled itself as the leader for emerging cyberspace operations for the Air Force Reserve community.

Redesignated as 426 Intelligence Squadron on 31 Dec 1995.
426 Information Operations Squadron on 1 Aug 2000.
426 Network Warfare Squadron on 5 Jul 2008.
Inactivated on 7 Sep 2011.
Re-activated on 1 Mar 2014 at Lackland AFB, TX.
