We are the 354th Mobile Public Affairs Detachment, a versatile communications unit in the Army Reserve located in Coraopolis, Pa. Our mission is to tell the Army Story to the public through various media and means of communication: broadcast, written articles, print publications, online blogs (such as this one) and photography.

- Activated 1 February 1972 at Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

- Reorganized and redesignated 1 October 1976 as the 354th Public Affairs Detachment
- Location changed 15 October 2001 to Coraopolis, Pennsylvania
- Elements ordered into active military service 18 July 2002 at Coraopolis, Pennsylvania; released from active military service 20 May 2003 and reverted to reserve status
