About
26th CRD is an 18 man detachment. It consists of 4 Chemical Detachment Alphas (CDAs) and the command team, one Master-Sergeant and one Captain. The CDAs are broken down as follows:
Team Leader: Sergeant First-Class
Assistant Team Leader: Staff Sergeant
2 CBRN NCOs: Sergeants
When deployed a team is attached to the deploying SF battalion and further broken down into individuals being attached to Operation Detachment Alphas (ODAs). We perform all manner of Site Exploitation for the ODAs, to include but not limited to, DNA collection, Biometrics, DOCEX, CELLEX, and explosives. CDA members are also highly trained in tactical applications to better help ODAs and not be a hindrance to the ODA members.
