Sometimes people need to be guided to seek help. We don't want them to think depression is a permanent state of mind and help does not exist.

This is fairly unsurprising due to this factoid: "Men die by suicide 3.53x more often than women."
An unfortunate number, but by the functions of math and statistics it would make sense that if suicides are increasing at a 1 to 1 ratio of men to women, the female rate would be that much higher than the male rate. It's not a good subject to think about, but I feel that it's another one of those misleading titles attempting to garnish more sympathy for women.
"One in four homeless people are women" is another example.

While this data is the most accurate we have, we estimate the numbers to be higher.
