Lt Col Charlie Brown Good information but so far I have never used a QU code. Scammers know no boundaries to steal from people.

I do my best not to use them. Some restaurants now have QR codes in place of menus. I've walked out a time or two.

About the only time I use QR codes is at Kroger to upload a sale price.
