Reiteration of key standards of conduct and enforcement.

Most of the ‘prolific posters’ are aware that personal attacks and vulgarity will usually have an admin response (when observed) ranging from removal of content to account suspension for those who have been repeatedly warned but keep violating the rules/standards.

However, there are two other rules/standards that need to be highlighted. There has been an increase in violations for one and the other will see increased enforcement when a user violates it.

The first is the prohibition against “imagery showing nudity or sexually suggestive content”.

You might have the “greatest political meme” (in your view) that you want to share on RallyPoint which shows your favorite political target engaged in all manner of sexually suggestive (or explicit) behavior. While it will probably score points with the usual group of supporters, it’s not allowed and you can skip posting it.

The second is something that has been allowed to lapse in some cases – attacks on groups of individuals.

While most (there are some notable exceptions on RP) wouldn't tolerate someone using vile terms to describe a wide swath of our members based on race, sex, age, etc., they will tolerate attacks on groups when it comes to politics or ideologies that intersect with their politics.

No, all Harris supporters are not ……………………
No, all Trump supporters are not ……………………
All Police are not ……………………
All Environmentalists are not ……………………
All Veterans that voted for someone you don’t like are not ……………………

While it is improbable to expect those posting in the “Political Opinions” group to be respectful of each other, those that post content which is “vulgar, slanderous, hateful, or prejudiced” against entire groups of people can expect admins to get involved.

Admins are neither omniscient nor do we receive system notifications if something is doing something wrong. As we review posts, if we see activity that is not allowed, we take action. As mentioned previously, those actions can cover a range of responses from simply retagging an incorrectly tagged post, removing posts up to suspending accounts for individuals that are repeat offenders who won’t accept correction of their actions.

If you have your posts/comments/responses deleted, it’s likely because of HOW you said something, not the political content of what you said.

If your posts were deleted but “the idiot from the left/right that did the same thing was left alone”, it’s probably because the admins didn’t see it or the one that did see it didn’t think it was as egregious as you believe it is.

If you think something is in violation for the rules/standards on the platform, notify an administrator and they’ll check it out.

I've removed some very lewd content recently, and I've suspended a few people for repeated offenses. Members need to think twice before they post.

You are fine. Now, a lack of judgement particularly poor thought out ones, are cautionary.

SSgt (Join to see) I exhibit a lack of judgment at times. But I usually catch myself and delete what I was going to say and make it more civil and less insulting

I do get informed when my posts have the wrong tag. The fact is the device I am using has no access point to add or remove tags.
